Daniel Rehn and Sarah Caluag—better known as me+Sarah—construct environments that explore social interaction, critical engagement with technology, and cultural aesthetics.

As live visualists, me+Sarah seek to challenge the status quo by performing with expressive control surfaces instead of relying on software. They insist upon engaging collaborations with the musician that result in fresh material for every performance.

They are currently producing several installations including a miniature city and an exploration of facial expression via social reactivity. In early 2011, they are opening the LA Game Space, a non-profit lab for game development, research, and culture. The lab will feature immersive experiences that enhance game development and play-sessions.

“The capacity that Daniel has of not only formulating an interesting vision, but to actively create collaborations and spaces for others to build and develop their creative projects, is something that truly sets him apart.” – Alf Rehn
