I have a list of demands. I want a puppy and an economic revolution. I want an end to the Prison Industrial Complex, Wal-Mart, and hangovers. I make art for anti-capitalists who are addicted to fashion, for brokenhearted-heartbreakers, sexy feminists, and shy revolutionaries. I make art for bi-racial-bi-sexual-bi-coastal time-travelers, and for well-dressed post-colonial wanderers.

Sadie Barnette is from Oakland, California. She completed her undergraduate work at California Institute of the Arts in 2006, and is currently pursuing an MFA at the University of California, San Diego.
